i am implementing Melody Shumans Skillz program. This program entails different ranks. Will changing the ranks by creating new colors and such, screw anything up? Can I go into the ranks object and (1) rename it, (2) assign the newly renamed rank to a student?

Hi Chad, if you are trying to rename existing rank name/ color it will automatically apply the changes to the student's account, because system assigns the rank based on the rank order hence changing rank name will not affect existing student's rank. e.g. A student has "White" rank & you renamed it to "White Rank" student will automatically get his rank as "White Color Rank".

gotcha...confirms this for me though....Currently rank order number 1 is my youth (all kids under 14) white belt. Youth ranks go to number 10. Adult white is Rank 11. My plan is rank 1-6 will be kids 6 and under, ranks 7-13 will be for ages 7-9 and ranks 14-20 will be for ages 10-14.

My concern is that adults will get mixed up....I assume I will need to "bump up" the rank numbers for my adult programs

Hi Chad, in this situation creating separate program/ style for different age groups would be the best option. Within those programs you can create different ranks & rank orders based on the age groups.

ok..so I can in theory have more than one rank order #1. one in program 1, one in program 2 and one in program 3?

That's right! Because we are assigning different rank orders for the ranks & placing them in different programs.

Yes, you can use the browser version as well to create new programs.

I need help using a scanner to scan products in my pro shop. I can scan chips and products that use the standard 12 character UPC-A. But I can't get the scanner and/or PerfectMind to recognize drinks, which use a shorter UPC-E. Someone in tech support set up a new "rule" in PerfectScan but it doesn't work. Is anyone doing this? And, if so, could you let me know what I need to do to make this work?

⅓ of my students credit cards have failed this month and I just realized some have not been billed for 2-3 months. I could not pay my rent this month. You are ruining my business! What is going on with all of these failures. The credit card information is correct. This is ridiculous. I have had nothing but problems with championsway.

I want to create a membership that is limited to 8 classes per month, but billing is monthly ongoing. Any way to set up a class limit doesnt have an ongoing billing option. Also, I cant edit memberships anymore. It goes to "Perfectmind isn't set up properly" page now.
