Phone Manner:
1. Tell me about a time when you had multiple lines going and how you handled that?
2. Give me an example of how you would leave a message for somebody to remind them about their appointment the next day.
3. How have you handled clients that don’t speak English very well or are having a hard time understanding you?

Customer Service:
1. What do you think is the most important part of customer service?
2. Give me an example of when you had to deal with an unhappy customer and what you did to turn the situation around.
3. What is the hardest part of customer service for you? How do you cope with that?
4. Tell us about your experience in dealing with the public.

Communication:
1. Tell me about a time when your boss gave you a directive, and you misunderstood the directions. How did you handle that?
2. Tell us about a situation where you demonstrated good communications skills.
3. Tell us about a situation where you demonstrated poor communications skills. What would you have done differently?

Responsibility:

1. Briefly describe the most significant responsibility you have had in your career and what it taught you?
2. How do you handle responsibility?

Multitasking:
1. At the front counter there are multiple priorities, the phone is ringing with people wanting information, students want to purchase equipment, instructors need reports and a child needs a band-aid. How do you prioritize what to do?
